August 29, 2018 – Hamilton Square, NJ – Berkley Accident and Health, a Berkley Company®, announces the opening of its newest office location in Tampa, FL and welcomes Ron Brodeur as Regional Sales Manager. Heading up the new office, Ron will oversee existing and new business relationships for Berkley Accident and Health’s medical stop loss insurance product in Florida, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, and southern Georgia.
“Expanding our footprint in Florida will enable us to meet the needs of our rapidly growing customer base. Our new office allows us to better serve the brokers, agents, and self-funded employers in this region,” said Christopher Brown, President and CEO.
Berkley Accident and Health’s first office in Florida is located in St. Petersburg, part of the Tampa Bay area. The company is in the process of hiring a range of new employees across the U.S., including underwriters, claims analysts, and support staff, to support its expansion.

Prior to joining Berkley Accident and Health, Ron served as director of sales and underwriting for more than 12 years at a national stop loss carrier. Prior to that, he held various underwriting leadership positions at other stop loss carriers and consulting firms, where he built a strong network of connections in the Tampa area.
Ron Brodeur will be based out of Berkley Accident and Health’s St. Petersburg, FL office.
