October 18, 2018 – Hamilton Square, NJ – Berkley Accident and Health, a Berkley Company®, announces the opening of its newest office location in Phoenix, AZ and welcomes Matthew Cooper as Regional Sales Manager. Heading up the new office, Matthew will oversee existing and new business relationships for Berkley Accident and Health’s medical stop loss insurance product in California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.

Berkley Accident and Health’s new office in Arizona is located in Phoenix. The company is in the process of hiring a range of new employees across the U.S., including underwriters, claims analysts, and support staff, to support its expansion.

Matthew is a 19 year veteran of the self-funded employee benefits sector. Prior to joining Berkley Accident and Health, Matthew served at various self-insurance companies in sales management positions. His depth of knowledge in all areas of self-funded benefits gives him a detailed view of self-funding on all levels including TPA, PBM, managed care, wellness and, excess loss coverage.
