Why is supplemental insurance coverage necessary?

Gaps in coverage and deductibles in health insurance plans are on the rise. Supplemental insurance products, such as Accident Insurance, can help to fill those gaps in coverage and the benefit payments can be used to help meet those rising deductibles.

What is Accident Insurance?

Accident Insurance provides coverage if you are injured or suffer a fatality in a covered accident. Your policy reimburses medical expenses you have incurred and/or provides a cash benefit that can be used however you choose — for groceries, rent, transportation, or even to help offset deductibles or co-pays. Unlike traditional life and health insurance products, if you are eligible to enroll, you may do so by completing a simple application with no health questions or screening required.

How do I get accident coverage?

Your employer, membership group, or other sponsoring organization, such as your sports or non-profit organization, may already be able to offer you this coverage. Ask your HR manager or group for more details.
