January 6, 2025 – Hamilton, NJ – Berkley Accident and Health, a Berkley Company, has appointed Nicholas Crane as Vice President of Business Development for its Specialty Accident business. In this role, Nick will be responsible for leading the development and execution of its growth strategy in the Specialty Accident market.

Nick joins Berkley Accident and Health with 20+ years of experience in the employee benefit and insurance space. Most recently, he worked as director of strategic partnerships for an international travel risk management company. Nick’s outstanding reputation and wide breadth of knowledge make him an ideal fit for this role.

Berkley Accident and Health is pleased to announce two other key appointments to its Specialty Accident team:

Redell Crabbe has joined Specialty Accident as Assistant Vice President of Underwriting. Redell will be responsible for leading underwriting and risk strategy for Berkley Accident and Health’s growing Specialty Accident business. In his new role, Redell will contribute to the continued success of Specialty Accident and its distribution partners.

Redell joins the business with 20+ years of experience in underwriting and management. Most recently, he served as director of special risk underwriting for a large national carrier and has a strong background in a variety of specialty accident products.

Joseph Tiboni has also joined the Specialty Accident team as Senior Underwriter. In his new role, Joe will be responsible for underwriting and risk selection for Specialty Accident products, including Business Travel Accident, Student Accident, and Participant Accident insurance. Joe is a seasoned professional, with 20+ years of underwriting experience at several large, national insurance carriers. He will use his extensive industry background to help grow the Specialty Accident business.
